Step 1: Get the Gear
AMX Acendo Vibe (ACV-5100) Harman Kardon is best known for its stylish home audio systems. Plug the USB-C end of the adapter into a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on your Mac, and then connect your flash drive, camera, or other standard USB device. You can also connect a Lightning to USB cable to sync and charge your iPhone, iPad, or iPod.
- Step 3: Connect your camera Power on your camera and connect it to your computer via USB cable. Using a USB 3.0 port on your computer provides the best results to ensure battery life. In the status bar, the GoPro icon will display a blue dot to indicate a successful connection. The camera is now in USB.
- Once you see this, you can disconnect the camera from the power source, connect one end of the USB-A cable to the back of the Wyze Cam V2, and the other to your computer’s available USB port.
- Launch Iriun Webcam app in your phone 2. Start Iriun Webcam Server on your PC 3. The phone is connected automatically to your PC using wireless WiFi network and the camera is ready to use. Configure the Windows application to use Iriun Webcam as source for audio and video Iriun Webcam supports USB connections too.
You’ll need:
1. HERO8 Black
2. A USB-C cable (the one that came with your GoPro, for example)
3. Your computer
4. A GoPro mounting option, which leads us to Step 2
Usb Webcam Driver Windows 10
PRO TIP: Make sure your HERO8 Black is running the latest camera firmware, available here or prompted when paired to the GoPro app.
Step 2:Set Up the Point of View
GoPro Webcam is compatible with all existing GoPro mounts, so you can get creative with points of view. Yes, you can achieve a standard webcam view by using the Magnetic Swivel Clip to attach the GoPro to your monitor or set up a Shorty tripod on your desk. But this is a GoPro, so use it like a GoPro! Get creative, have fun and try something new. Some of our favorites are:
1. Jaws Flex Clamp – This bendable, clampable mount can provide an over-the-shoulder view if you’re doing a training where it’s helpful to see your screen.
2. Magnetic Swivel Clip – The magnet part of this mount is clutch for getting creative. Want to go live from under the hood of your car? Or chat with the fam while cooking? This magnetic will securely attach to your range hood, and any metal surface for that matter.
3. Suction Cup – Much like the first two, the GoPro Suction Cup can stick to a surface like a window or shelving unit to provide a webcam POV unlike any other.
4. Gooseneck – Combine the Gooseneck with any of the aforementioned mounts (or any GoPro mount with a quick release base) and, voila, you have an extra-long, extra-bendy extension arm to loop and wiggle into any position. No hard-to-reach place will go unseen!
Step 3: Install and Launch the GoPro Webcam Desktop Utility
1. Why wont adobe premiere play through my wireless headphones mac. Download the GoPro Webcam desktop utility software to your computer, available here.
PRO TIP: GoPro Webcam desktop utility is currently available for macOS and as a beta for Windows users.
Logitech Webcam Mac
2. A GoPro icon will now appear in your status bar.

Trying to live stream capture the HDMI output of my Nikon DSLR camera. I need to use the zoom lens of the Nikon for live streaming my video to a Zoom meeting. USB-C is supposedly Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 3 supposedly handles HDMI as INPUT.
I'm connecting the Nikon HDMI port which is working - I sent the video to my HDMI monitor to test. I then plugged the HDMI cable into a HDMI to USB-C adapter on my MB Pro. No external camera is detected on FaceTime or Zoom or iMovie or anything else I tried.
The Nikon camera also has an A/V out via USB. That does not seem to work either, via a USB to USB-C adapter.
I'm hoping to solve this via the right connector because of the Thunderbolt 3 aspect of USB-C. Trying to avoid buying an expensive HDMI to USB-3 video capture box, not knowing if that would even work on the MacBook Pro.
